    By Jack Schofield I had a good friend, David Marshall, who was the last person to touch a hot Iroquois, and I am not referring to that indigenous tribe of native peoples, but to the Jet engine of the same name. The name, Iroquois, was adopted by Avro Canada to identify the gas turbine engine they had developed to power the famous CF-105 Avro Arrow interceptor.
