Author, Jim Griffith and Trans Canada Airlines were both born at about the same time and grew together over the decades, helping knit the expansive country together and becoming consummate professionals. Griffith first joined TCA when North Star piston airliners rattled the windows on long cross-country flights over the Canadian landscape. Griffith experienced the history of Canada’s national airline and this book tells the story of both.
